The Real Deal 2

From Paul Freeman's book, Outback Currawong Creek, this is more of the fellow in the The Real Deal.

Update: I've discovered the identity of the man in the photos and have emailed him to clarify a point before I post more info.

Andrew Maciver lives in Sydney, Australia, and is 28 years old as of this post. He is 6' tall, weighs 178 lbs., and has wavy brown hair and blue eyes.

Andrew was in fact a stockman when photographed by Paul Freeman. After the book was published, he and at least one other man, Will Fordyce, left the station to try modeling. Last I could discover, Andrew was working at a posh fitness resort in Sydney.

The Real Deal

I believe he is an Australian model, and that this is part of a series. Update: Not a model. He is in fact the real deal. He is the Australian equivalent of a cowboy, photographed by Paul Freeman, and published in a book called Outback Currawong Creek. I will have a post on the subject. (A stockman. A jackaroo is a man in training to become a stockman. A woman trainee is called a jillaroo.)

I'm not sure yet, but I believe Cowboy's Crack may come from the same source, as it was with a group of photographs that set me on my search. Update: Yes, I have confirmed that Cowboy's Crack comes from the same source.
